Floor Lead & Wine Steward

$15–20/hour + tips + performance bonuses

Co Lac is seeking a passionate and hospitality-driven Floor Lead & Wine Steward to help grow our evolving wine program while leading exceptional service on the floor.

This role combines wine stewardship, guest-facing service, and floor leadership. As a key member of a small team, you'll help shape our beverage program, guide guests through our wine offerings, and lead by example during service. We're looking for someone who is excited to build something special and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed to support the team.

• Guide guests through our wine program and provide thoughtful pairing recommendations

• Help maintain and develop our wine list alongside ownership

• Lead service on the floor and uphold hospitality standards

• Support communication and execution during service shifts

• Serve guests and maintain a strong floor presence

• Assist with staff wine education and beverage training

• Help monitor inventory, organization, and wine storage

• Drive beverage sales and enhance the guest experience

• Minimum 2 years of wine, sommelier, or beverage-focused restaurant experience

• Previous experience as a server in a full-service restaurant

• Strong wine knowledge and enthusiasm for continued learning

• Natural leadership skills and ability to lead by example

• Excellent communication and guest engagement abilities

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, or other wine certifications are a plus, but not required

• $15–20/hour based on experience

• Participation in the tip pool

Expected total annual earnings: approximately $80,000–$95,000+ depending on experience, tips, and bonus performance.
