Job Title: HR Specialist
Job Overview:Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a HR Specialist to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This onsite contract opportunity in Wilmington, DE offers the chance to play a vital role in maintaining accurate employee records, supporting workforce administration processes, and strengthening day to day HR operations. The position involves collaboration across multiple business functions while helping ensure compliance, organization, and efficiency throughout the employee lifecycle. Compensation:$30.00 - $35.00/hour
Work Schedule:Open to full-time or part-time schedule
Key Responsibilities of the HR Specialist:- Maintain and organize employee documentation while ensuring personnel records remain accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Conduct detailed audits of HR data and records, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements that enhance operational effectiveness.
- Support employee lifecycle activities by coordinating documentation related to new hires, departures, and workforce changes.
- Assist with payroll administration activities by reviewing information, processing updates, and helping ensure timely record maintenance.
- Facilitate document management efforts by digitizing files, entering information into HR systems, and reducing existing administrative backlogs.
Qualifications and Skills for the HR Specialist:- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in human resources with a strong foundation in employee records administration.
- Prior experience supporting onboarding processes and maintaining confidential personnel documentation.
- Proficiency using a human resources information system, including hands on experience with ADP Workforce Now.
- Working knowledge of employment verification documents, payroll related forms, and other standard HR compliance records.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of information while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
