Job Opportunity – Emergency Medicine Physician – Georgia

Start Date: July 2024 (ongoing need)

Location: Southeast Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Shift-based coverage with multiple options available (6a-5p, 11a-10p, 7p-6a). Typically 2-4 EM providers on at the same time. One day orientation followed by 1-2 shadow days for hands-on EMR training.

• 20 ED bays, 12 fast track bays, and 3 high security rooms
• Patient volume of 1.8-2.0 patients per hour with 12-16% admission rate
• Fast track area with nurse/APP triage coverage from 8am-6pm
• EMR: Expanse

Requirements:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• 2-3 years of emergency medicine experience
• Eligible for or holding an unrestricted Georgia medical license
• Clean medical license history (no revocations, restrictions, or suspensions in any jurisdiction)
• Current or willing to obtain unrestricted DEA registration
• Current case logs required for credentialing
