Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Work Schedule: 40 Hours/Week | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Day Shift (Rotating Prime & Non-Prime Call Duties)

Position Overview

Client is seeking an Epic Orders Analyst to join the Core Clinical Orders Sub Domain team. This role will support Epic Orders, Order Transmittal, Order Sets, and related clinical workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong Epic technical build experience, healthcare domain knowledge, and hands-on experience supporting clinical ordering solutions.

The candidate will work as a senior member of a 12 15 person team, collaborating with business users, clinical stakeholders, and technical teams to analyze, configure, troubleshoot, and enhance Epic solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Epic certification/proficiency in Orders, Order Transmittal, Order Sets, and/or ICON (experience with both is highly preferred).
• 3+ years of hands-on Epic technical build experience .
• 3+ years of healthcare industry experience in business systems analysis or related technical roles.
• Experience supporting Epic clinical workflows, configuration, testing, and issue resolution.
• Strong understanding of Epic ordering processes and clinical system integrations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with experience working directly with clinical and business stakeholders.

Other Qualifications

• Experience with Epic ICON or BUGSY (major plus).
• Experience presenting system prototypes, functional designs, and workflow solutions to business users.
• Experience supporting enterprise Epic implementations or optimization initiatives.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, configure, and support Epic Orders and Order Transmittal functionality.
• Perform Epic build, testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to understand workflow requirements and deliver system solutions.
• Support issue resolution, enhancements, and optimization of Epic clinical applications.
• Develop and review functional specifications, workflows, and system documentation.
• Participate in testing cycles, validation, and deployment activities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to end users and project teams.
